Blessthefall / August Burns Red Live! at TAB Singapore

ADRENALINE RUSH AT ITS MOST SINCERE..

Standing among the crowd, deep in a place called TAB, everyone was waving around at familiar faces. Seeming quite comfortable with the venue, we’ve been looking forward to Blessthefall and August Burns Red to perform here in Singapore for the first time! It was the 30th of April and they were inching ever closer as the crowd were chanting their names, making their voices heard and relentlessly keeping themselves moving right before the show began.

Jason Mraz Live In Singapore!

Jason Mraz Live In Singapore
The Meadow, Gardens By The Bay
Friday, 29th June 2012
Show commencing at 2000hrs

Don’t ever let your mind stop from having a good time" - Jason Mraz

Interestingly, over the years, Jason Mraz was beginning to branch his wonderful music all around the word. Super classic hits like ‘You And I Both’, ‘The Remedy’, ‘I’m Yours' and 'Lucky' definitely put those abilities of his to a good stretch of time and intensive care. Some of us may think that we won't be able to see him live anytime soon as he was quiet on new singles back in 2008 since his 'We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things' album. We were so wrong.

Metric - Youth Without Youth

"Read my mind. Follow along to the end of the song."

With bands like Metric continuing to push down hard on the pedal, they are a reminder that not many bands can hit the same level as them. Their new album “Synthetica" gave their genre its name. Bombastic!

Performing soon live in Singapore this coming July, their set as we predict is gonna be pure class. We’re not entirely sure however but this band is on stunning form nevetheless. A sense that something really quite momentous is about to happen after hearing “Youth Without Youth" from their recent album. It’s a wonder if there’s any youth left in them as this track was like an introduction to their radical music. Certainly the track pulls off an upbeat tune at the start and wasn’t that complex when it comes to technicality. A real groove that gives a cutting edge to the listeners. As long that they know they’ve done the right thing, they’re comfortable with this album definitely.

Just to keep you updated, here is the album tracklist for “Synthetica”.

  1. Artificial Norturne
  2. Youth Without Youth
  3. Speed The Collapse
  4. Breathing Underwater
  5. Dreams So Real
  6. Lost Kitten
  7. The Void
  8. Synthetica
  9. Clone
  10. The Wanderlust
  11. Nothing But Time

Purchase Metric's 'Synthetica' album through here! Happy listening!

Just a bonus, check out Metric's acoustic version of Gold Guns Girls. Emily made an awesome rendition on the piano! Cheers!

AVENGED SEVENFOLD LIVE AT THE COLISEUM!

A7X NEVER FAIL TO IMPRESS ONCE AGAIN..

The way the nature of metal was structured now and then, it makes you question why you bother listening to it. It was more about building identity and position in a scene that we would quickly develop away from. It was simply unavoidable. No matter how frustrating it looks in terms of progression, A7X (Avenged Sevenfold) inspired you with that emotional charge they gave you, not in music, but certainly the lyrics. The Coliseum, Hard Rock Hotel Singapore was one of the venues to welcome back Avenged Sevenfold for the third time and too familiar to be unique, they were too superfly to be hanging out in Lion City once more. However it’s different this time.

DIABLO OPEN AIR FESTIVAL LIVE AT WEST COAST PARK

D.O.A DELIVER REALISTIC METAL LIKE NO OTHER

Four hours, four bands, and enough Red Bull to endure a quality setlist in prospect. A kind of confidence and exuberance coming from the crowd entering the park as they endured the scorching sun. It’s like a routine as I propelled myself forward nearer to the stage once I stepped onto the grassy patch. Paramedics and two ambulance were standing by, being observant of every single human being on what to expect from the crowd. I, however, was constantly waiting for the rest to fill the huge capacity. It never seemed that way.

SUM 41 LIVE AT FORT GATE!

NO EQUATION CAN MATCH THEIR LIBERATION..

Reliving the days of a fifteen year old me, I was grinning from ear to ear as I made my way to Fort Gate on that ‘oh fateful day' of 12th April 2012. Though it was seven years ago, the wait was well worth bringing me back to my young, rebellious self.

I eagerly waited in line to see the very first person I ever called an idol. He goes by the name of Deryck Whibley, ready to conquer the stage with his league of extraordinary gentlemen.
