Every Boy Should Collect Knives - Outline In Color
Formed in 2009,this band released an EP late last year and has now released a music video for their single Every Boy Should Collect Knives.The band is currently unsigned!
This track and music video will definitely cement Outline In Color’s status as a band to look out for in the near future. The six-piece band are quickly gaining recognition in the scene. Music-wise, they incorporate synthesizers into the traditional chug-chug-chug sound of hardcore. Unlike bands like Helia,whose synths stand out instead of blending into their music,Outline In Color however fuses synths into the background and compliments their sound in general.
Outline In Color has solid vocals that stand out and the screams doesn’t vary much, constantly staying in the lower range with a few spurts of highs here and there. Oh well is brutal nonetheless! The clean vocals are typical of the hardcore scene which doesn’t offer a difference to the scene, yet stays true to the hardcore books.
All in all. Outline In Color is full of potential and definitely able to go far in our eyes. This is a band to look out for! :)
