Atlas - Losing Fight

We first found out about these guys through twitter and through the band Evaline. So worth the discovery! They have been working hard in the studios with Daniel Petersen, one of Evaline’s finest and now Atlas has recently released a new track ‘Losing Fight’!

These guys produce catchy indie tunes with a great technicality to it. Just like what you can hear through ‘Losing Fight’. It’s like every beat and rhythm has been planned out to compliment each instrument, even the vocals. There’s no trace of a sound put out of place or even overly done. Weird thing is Atlas reminds us a little of Circa Survive probably due to the ALMOST similar clean vocals (definitely not as high pitched as Circa Survive though) and the mood of their songs.

Atlas is definitely worth your time so do check them out! ‘Losing Fight‘ is available free for download with an exchange for a tweet or a shoutout on facebook. You won’t regret downloading this! Who doesn’t love free music am I right? Don’t deny it :p

Below is a live performance of their single, ‘This Town’. Another great song that shows a little more of their musicianship and you get to see it firsthand in this vid. A great live performance by Atlas and we hope to see more of them in the near future.

It might be too soon to say this but we really do hope that we’ll get to see Atlas live some day in Singapore. We have a feeling that Atlas are going to put up as good a show as Evaline when we first saw them live here some time this year. Bands that perform with great passion and energy should be given a great level of respect. We need to see more of these bands here!
