Theophilus London - I Stand Alone

Yes he is one of those brightest young things who has the kind of potential which makes you go, “I didnt see that coming!” Theophilus London, also known as TL is that upcoming boy wonder. That swagger he owns really shows that only music matters to him. 

The track “I Stand Alone”, taken from his recent full-length debut album “Timez Are Weird These Dayz” has been getting alot of buzz over the past few weeks. He raps but occasionally sings over new wave beats! 

Theophilus got us curious, with a unique name like that, one would wonder what kind of music he could make. After hearing songs like “Hey Wonderful”, “Last Name London” and “Oops”, we got hooked right away! Like it or not, he is simply gaining international popularity by staying true to himself. TL’s music combines rap, soul-pop, electro, indie-pop, basically is a whole new evolution of hip-hop.

“There is really no specific description of my sound since it has been shaped by various musical influences as well as my persona.. being influenced by multiple genres, I’ve really tried to develop my own sound and enhance my songwriting capabilities. I’m basically aiming to live to the brand that I try to establish.”
