Woe Is Me vocalist Tyler Carter has made a decision to leave the band
Woe Is Me was very much known for being one of the bands with so many members (7 to be exact) and who had an RnB singer to cover the clean vocals in the band. That RnB singer? Well none other then Tyler Carter.
Most of us assume that Tyler Carter, even though an RnB artist, was comfortable being in a metalcore band. They seemed like a perfect match for a band. Well Tyler was for a while, while his passion for the music they make lasted. Seems like it finally wore off of him.
In a statement to Alt Press recently he mentioned,
It’s not an easy step to make, but I can’t go on living a dream that I no longer have full interest in. I love the fans, and I hope the true ones will stick with Woe, Is Me and myself even after my departure. Don’t be ignorant to the situation—it’s nothing personal with the boys, I love them all. I just can’t fake passion that I once had. I always preach to my fans, “Follow your dreams,” and I need to take my own advice. My dreams are not fully achieved. I achieved several with the band, but I have many more goals to reach. This lifestyle, “rock ‘n’ roll” and what it consists of just isn’t for me anymore.
Before any rumors start, yes I am leaving Woe, Is Me. I will be blunt so you all know the truth, directly from me myself, I’m not happy in this industry and I’m more positive of a person than I have been able to display on recent tours due to drama within the band. Being in a band is not easy, and I’m not running from my problems, just following my heart, as I encourage you all to do. That’s all you really can do.
I’d like to thank the devil inside for slamming so many doors, but I thank God for opening so many more.
Seems like Woe Is Me has been through alot losing 2 guitarists in about 6 months. With Tim Sherrill leaving the band in Dec 2010 and having Geoffrey Higgins to replace him some time in March 2011. Then after Geoffrey left the band too around June which leaves Woe Is Me with Andrew Paiano who got kicked out of Abandon All Ships to replace him. To top all of that, Tyler decides to leave the band this month because ‘rock and roll’ was not his choice of lifestyle.
We definitely wish Tyler Carter all the best in his future career and hope that all Woe Is Me fans will support both the band and Tyler too.

BREAKING NEWS: Alexisonfire are officially parting ways.
George from Alexisonfire recently posted on their website that the band is officially parting ways. He explains how Dallas was leaving to focus on City & Colour and guitarist Wade was then offered to join another band.
Replacing one guitar player/singer/writer was something we thought was possible, but replacing two would run the serious risk of perverting the legacy of what we had achieved. So we all took a good hard swallow and decided to end it so it would never get old or ugly.
What are the plans for the remaining members of Alexis?
As for myself, Jordan and Christopher, the future is largely unwritten. I would say this is my retirement from the business of playing music but that feels too much like famous last words. Keep your ear to the ground. There could be any number of possibilities for new projects from the remaining members of Alexis.
With a heavy heart, George ended the statement with a note for Alexisonfire fans.
In closing, I would like to offer my sincerest gratitude to the fans of Alexisonfire around the world. I’m forever grateful to anyone who has ever taken any interest in what we did. You were the coal that stoked our engines. You have given us a spectacular decade, rich with experience and joy. I love you all.

Have you guys heard that Rilo Kiley have officially announced their split?
Yeah apparently they are not getting back together after their “hiatus”. The band is officially calling it quits. Such sad news to hear in the morning.

Hollywood Undead and A&M Octone (the bands record label) are facing a lawsuit from former band member Aron “Deuce” Erlichman according to a recent story from the New York Post
Deuce alleges he was forced out of the band said he feared for his safety after anti-Semitic slurs were leveled at him. Deuce said he also had a gun pointed at him by a former band member “Shady Jeff.”
The lawsuit includes a reference to an online post by Shady Jeff that, “last time I saw Erlichman I shoved a F—-ing gun in his face and he started crying. We ain’t friends.”
